This exciting half-day event will showcase the challenges, pitfalls and successes of innovation and enterprise in translational medicine. A number of leading academics, industrialists and entrepreneurs will give their personal perspectives on enterprise in the healthcare arena.

16 November 2011: Translational Clinical Research Conference
You are warmly invited to attend this conference to celebrate Southampton's translational clinical research excellence and its positive impact on the NHS and our wider society.
The keynote address is the Annual Wade Lecture given by Professor Pat Jacobs (Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory), at 5.15pm, followed by wine and cheese.
The Research Design Service (RDS) will hold a lunchtime workshop on current funding opportunities and writing grant proposals.
