Research design and methodology
Investigators in the region can access research design support for free* from Research Design Service South Central (RDS).
We are a team of statisticians, epidemiologists, qualitative and health economics researchers based at Southampton General Hospital. The RDS prioritises support for those developing NIHR research funding bids, particularly for Research for Patient Benefit.
So if you are developing your funding proposal please get in touch with us as early as you can so we can help you design a really high quality study. Through the SCRI, we run monthly multi-disciplinary Research Design Advisory Panels. The panel meetings allow you to talk through your study design issues with a group of methodologists with expertise of most relevance to you study.
