UK Brain Archive Information Network
BRAIN UK is a Medical Research Council funded initiative supported by the British Neuropathological Society which aimsto make available the archival tissue resources of UK Neuroscience centres for the purposes of high quality medical and biomedical research.
We have recently received ethical approval (via the National Research Ethics Service) and we are currently applying for Research and Developmentapproval from participating centres to enable us to commence building our research database.
It is hoped that applications for access to tissue can be taken from late-2010 onwards.
